Dylan Zayas Wren and Irk join forces for this EP to create the perfect mix of grooves that have the potential to break your neck (Irk), and metal so doom that you'll probably have to get a haircut by the end of each song (Wren).
All jokes aside though, this EP is absolutely amazing, and by far the most coherent sounding Split release I've ever heard.
(P.S. Thanks for signing my CD, ya'll are the best!) Favorite track: You Sound Like My Ex-Wife.
Rod Astorga

Rod Astorga Irk and Wren make a great team on this collab. Irk starts out with heavy, groovy riffs that just keep you moving, followed by a short little horror skit thing and then Wren puts everything in perspective with their signature heavy doom atmosphere. Favorite track: Cibo per Gattini.

I drive my kids to the zoo and I cry in bed at night. Now there's cum everywhere and you look stupid. Sitting on your hands with something dead in your throat. The kids are only lonely when they're alone. I bit off more than I could chew so I swallowed it whole Maybe I would feel better if I did not know better. I drive my kids to the zoo and I cry in bed at night. Now there's cum everywhere and you look stupid. Sitting on your hands with something dead in your throat. The kids are only lonely when they're alone. Your sister is my friend. Your sister is my dock. I am so sorry. Try the best apology. Put it to the back of your mind. We've all had a really nice time. And it won't stop... Baby, put your shoes on, we're going for a ride. I'm taking you to see your mother, you're not coming back alive.
2.
How the soundless song was... How the fluid filled your... How you kiss your father's... Sung. Lung. Tongue. How the soundless song was... How the fluid filled your... How you kiss your father's... Loads of pain. Now. Loads of pain. My guts are on the golf course. Birdie. Eagle. Sand wedge. Great head. How the war cannot be... How the war cannot be... How the war cannot be won.

Walking down. I says it and I means it. Feels it happen. Cut the rope and appear again. Call it magic. I doesn't care where you stop. Either way it's a tragedy as I gleans it. Eighteen more miles and we can puts the plug in. Forget relativity especially, purposeless and grave. Just how I likes it and just where I needs it. I got money, I got bread and honey. I got thinking caps aplenty. Forgotten smiles. Elementary particles that breaks your heart. Into the breach, efficient though it is. A great divide, where I hide my each and every part. It be an end before it be a start. And we knows it because we be so smart. And it hurts us so much and we smile. Counts to five and then be alone a while. Doesn't come back until we can't breathe anymore. Fat chance. Slim to none. Not long and we gone. No time to get to know us loved ones, so. Friends until the ends of us youth. Born into it. Too much to ask. A gasp in the dark and reaching out. Nothing there. We gone again. Like we is never even here. Afraid without fear. I says it and I means it.
4.
A fear of physical harm. A fear of physical harm. All hell. David has gone to jail. He learned to dance and now he has... A fear of physical harm. A fear of physical harm. All hell. Alice would keep her tongue, Behind her teeth but now she can't... Forget it, forget it. Forget it, forget it. Well they say that pain makes one sentimental. I don't know, perhaps there is tenderness. Is it that you feel it sitting in your chest? That you feel it sitting on the bathroom floor? Cibo per gattini, un pezzo di pollo. I miei piccolini, il morso del collo. Il sangue viscoso, l'urlare stridente. L'occhio geloso, lo sguardo morente. Right. “However far you may travel in this world You will still occupy the same volume of space.” A fear of physical harm. A fear of physical... Harm. Harm. Harm. Harm.
